Beef Bulgogi
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs thinly sliced beef cut (e.g., sirloin, chuck round, etc)
- 6 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice wine
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp white sugar
- 1/4 cup onion, puree or finely chipped
- 1 1/2 - 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 - 1 1/2 tsp minced ginger
- 1 green onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp sesame seeds
Preparation
- Prepare marinade
- Add marinade to meat 3tbsp at a time; mix evenly. Make sure to separate meat while mixing; marinade for at least 30 to 45 minutes
- Heat 1 1/2 tsp vegetable oil in pan; cook meat and veggies together over medium-high heat; Add green onions shortly before finishing
- Garnish with sesame seeds; serve with rice
