Beef Bulgogi

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs thinly sliced beef cut (e.g., sirloin, chuck round, etc)
  • 6 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice wine
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp white sugar
  • 1/4 cup onion, puree or finely chipped
  • 1 1/2 - 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 - 1 1/2 tsp minced ginger
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp sesame seeds

Preparation

  1. Prepare marinade
  2. Add marinade to meat 3tbsp at a time; mix evenly. Make sure to separate meat while mixing; marinade for at least 30 to 45 minutes
  3. Heat 1 1/2 tsp vegetable oil in pan; cook meat and veggies together over medium-high heat; Add green onions shortly before finishing
  4. Garnish with sesame seeds; serve with rice
