Hashbrowns

Ingredients

  • Russet potatoes

Preparation

  1. Wash and peel potatoes
  2. Grate potatoes with box grater and season with salt
  3. Squeeze potatoes aggresively and rinse
  4. Place potatoes in towel and wring out excess water
  5. Heat skillet over medium heat, coat with oil
  6. Press potatoes into skillet, edge to edge
  7. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes; flip, and cook for 3 to 4 more minutes
  8. Season; repeat with remaining potatoes
