Whipped Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 pint heavy cream (16 oz)
  • 1/4 cup powdered or extra fine sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp cream or tartar

Preparation

  1. Place your bowl and mixer beaters into the freezer to chill, about five minutes.
  2. Pour cream into chilled bowl and beat with an electric mixer until frothy. Add remaining ingredients gradually, continuing to beat until soft peaks form.
